CBTech came to me with a problem with their existing website. It was run through and IT Company on a propriety CMS which was very restrictive in terms of what they were enabled to achieve. This had been a long time in development and they elected to cut the development and use a ‘more out of the box’ cms which enabled them to change things and set things up the way the needed to. Perhaps it would not do everything, however at least it would do things and let them update it as they needed to.
It has been a successful choice for them, and the decision was made to use Dot Net Nuke, as in the grand scheme of things they were prepared to pay for things when they could seek the value and know that the thing was built to allow this kind of development.
